I had my home listed with a different agency for 12 months. During that time my realtor showed it one time. At the end of my contract with them, I signed a listing agreement with Chris and Rick of Exit Realty.Within one month, they brought me an offer. This first one we were unable to make work, but in just a matter of a few weeks they brought me another one which I accepted and we closed with no issues at all. During the time Chris and Rick had it listed they showed it many times, had open houses, explained everything in detail and kept me informed. I do not use internet, fax, and am hard to reach on the phone. They would keep calling until they reached me or sent information and paperwork through the mail. They went above and beyond to keep me updated and I am very pleased with their performance. I could tell they cared about me and wanted what was best for me. I had a house on the market in Marion for 6 months, listed with a "bigger" Sioux Falls realty company that specializes in small town properties. The house was maybe shown once, and didn't have an open house. I had heard Rick and Chris had sold some properties for another family member, so I reached out to them. After signing the listing agreement, the house was sold within six weeks. They were easy to work with, returned phone calls and emails quickly, and sold the property for me. We had the opportunity to work with Rick and Chris on the purchase of our new home this past year. Our experience with them was beyond expectations. We knew pretty quickly after Rick showed us our home, that we wanted to make an offer. Rick was fantastic at getting us all of the paperwork very timely, explaining the documents, and offering support and advice. He even went above and beyond by sending us documents in the evenings and taking phone calls after hours or on weekends. We certainly did not expect that out of any realtor, but at Exit Realty, we felt like they truly cared about us and our family. For them, it was not about "selling and moving houses" but it was about what was best for us. Rick also pointed us in the right direction when it came time for financing our home.
